Capital Markets Lawyer Role
The role of a Capital Markets Lawyer is to provide expert legal analysis and support on matters related to capital markets.
* Provide in-depth legal analysis and support on market abuse, disclosure requirements, takeovers, and supervision of market operators.
* Contribute to investigations and draft investigation reports on market abuse.
* Process files related to international cooperation with other regulatory bodies.
* Review and analyze suspicious transaction and order reports to identify potential risks.
* Support the development of the legal framework for capital markets.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial law and regulations, excellent analytical and drafting skills, and experience working in the financial sector.
Requirements
* Masters degree in Law, preferably in Financial Law or Business Law.
* Complementary training certificate in Luxembourg Law is an advantage.
* Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the financial sector, ideally in capital markets.
* Proficiency in English, French, German, and Luxembourgish languages.
* Good knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework of the financial sector.
* Critical thinking, excellent drafting, analytical, and synthesis skills.
* Strong sense of rigour, discretion, and organisation.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
As a public employee under a permanent contract, the successful candidate will be eligible for admission to the status of civil servant.
