About the Role: Sr. Strategic Sourcing Manager, EMEA
As the Sr. Strategic Sourcing Manager for the EMEA region, you will lead our strategic sourcing function, managing a dedicated team to support our manufacturing facilities and indirect spending strategy. Your mission? To enhance Pall's financial and delivery performance through effective negotiations, cost-saving initiatives, and robust Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programs.
This position reports to the Sr. Director of Global Sourcing and is based onsite in Bad Kreuznach, Germany, as part of our Global Integrated Supply Chain team.
Your Opportunities Include:
* Regional Strategy Development & Implementation: Oversee the execution of Pall’s strategic sourcing policies across EMEA, ensuring alignment with sales and shipment targets.
* Performance Management: Drive Pall’s Core Value Drivers (CVDs) including On-Time Delivery (OTD) and cost savings through effective management.
* Team Leadership & Execution: Lead your team in identifying cost-saving projects and managing sourcing initiatives to ensure supplier quality and delivery performance.
* Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate strategic supplier relationships, leading contract negotiations and supplier business reviews.
* New Product Introduction (NPI) Support: Engage the sourcing team in NPI reviews to optimize cost and accelerate time-to-market.
* Operational Excellence: Champion the deployment of Danaher Business Systems tools to enhance quality, delivery, and cost efficiency.
* People Development: Foster a high-performance culture by mentoring and developing your team to maximize their potential.
Essential Requirements:
* BS Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management with at least 5 years of relevant sourcing experience.
* Proven track record in managing a strategic sourcing team with significant spend responsibilities.
* Hands-on experience in achieving cost savings and managing supplier performance.
* Strong team player with experience in a matrix environment.
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supplier development, preferably in a high-mix low-volume environment.
* Global sourcing experience in a multinational manufacturing company.
* Excellent negotiation skills and familiarity with electronic sourcing tools.
Travel & Physical Requirements:
* Willingness to travel internationally and domestically, up to 50% of the time, to support projects and business development efforts.
Bonus Qualifications:
* Experience in the global marketplace and commodity management, ideally in filtration and separation processes.
* Ability to interpret product Bill of Materials (BOMs) and drawings.
* Experience in developing business strategies and leading initiatives with strong influencing skills.
