Sales and Business Development Manager Role

Mitsubishi Electric Europe B.V. is a 100% subsidiary of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation in Tokyo, Japan.

Our German branch has sales offices at various locations in addition to the headquarters in Ratingen near Düsseldorf.

We strive to grow with talented individuals: Our Infrastructure Business Area Project Office division in Ratingen is looking for a Sales and Business Development Manager.

Mitsubishi Electric is one of the world's leading companies in manufacturing, marketing, and sales of electronic products, components, and system solutions.


Your Key Responsibilities:

* Identify and develop new business opportunities, manage existing accounts, and build long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the data center sector as well as other industries where UPS systems are required across Europe
* Promote and sell our Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems
* Provide technical guidance and expertise to clients, ensuring the UPS systems are configured to meet their operational needs and future growth plans
* Continuously monitor competitors and industry trends, including market developments and emerging technologies
* Submit monthly sales reports to management and MELCO


Your Ideal Profile:

* Experience in selling UPS systems to the data center sector and other industries in Europe
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably with a focus on technical solutions for data centers, electrical infrastructure, or similar sectors
* Technical background or certifications in UPS systems, power management, and/or energy solutions would be considered a plus
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Results-driven and proactive approach to identifying client needs as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
* Fluent in English and willing to travel in Europe and globally
