Over the next few years, Stadtwerke Lübeck Energie will implement massive plans in the area of expansion and greening of district heating and expansion of renewable energies and flexibility, as well as in water management, and invest in technical assets, thus making a significant contribution to achieving climate protection targets. Our common goals with the technical divisions include an optimal asset park, optimal asset operation, excellent use of IT/digitalization, the acquisition of funding and the professional handling of projects. To this end, we work closely with all the departments involved in our group of companies. SWL Energie's Asset Management Technology ensures that we use data and sound decision-making methods to achieve sustainable results in the technical areas of district heating, renewable energies & flexibility and water. As part of the exciting transformation of the Asset Park towards the energy transition and the ambitious expansion of our asset portfolio, we are looking for reinforcement in Asset Management for the Technology department in the areas of data management, data preparation and data governance.
We are looking for you to work part-time at 19.5 h/week as a consultant in Asset Management Technology - focus on data.
Referent:in Asset Management Technology - focus on data. These are the tasks:
* Large amounts of technical data are exactly your thing and with your passion for consistent and resilient data sets and data structures, you develop and structure the data landscape further in close cooperation with all colleagues involved from different departments.
* You have an overview of the data assets in the Technology department, continuously improve data quality and implement algorithms and data processing procedures, optimize data flows and processes together with other internal departments and contribute to the automation of data processing.
* As a central ambassador for data quality, you ensure that we always have the right master, operating and forecast data for our technical systems in the areas of district heating, renewable energies, flexibility and water (ownership).
* You report the correct data to various external and internal stakeholders in accordance with the agreed or legal requirements and take responsibility for the reported data.
* You coordinate the data preparation work at the various points in the Group and play an active role yourself. You regularly assess the current status of the data landscape and develop it further, together with other colleagues from other departments who need to be involved.
* As a data professional with your technical and business expertise, you will be right in the middle of things instead of just being there when you contribute to the data strategy for successful, data-based asset management in the areas of district heating, water, renewable generation and flexibilities and thus make data usable as a strategic advantage for us.
* It goes without saying that you will work closely with the technical departments and make full use of your strategic vision and communication skills to build a robust and future-proof portfolio together with all colleagues in the Asset Management team and to optimally manage the technical systems over their entire life cycle.
That's what we want:
* Completed Master's degree in energy economics, economics, engineering or environmental sciences, computer science/business informatics, or mathematics or equivalent skills and qualifications
* Sound knowledge of common IT and database infrastructure technologies and architectures and standards
* Sound knowledge of data science, data governance, data management software, database systems and project management tools
* Experience in the development, automation and implementation of data processes to meet business requirements
* Interest in the energy transition, energy technology and the energy industry
* Very good knowledge of Python, Matlab, MS Excel VBA or comparable languages, proficient in SAP, Power BI and other tools as well as in key figure systems and data governance
* At least 3 years of professional experience in comparable positions
* Skills and experience in cross-departmental project management
* Strong affinity for numbers and high analytical skills, reliable, careful and structured way of working
* Team spirit, commitment, empathy and eagerness to learn
* Business fluent in written and spoken German
