Do you digest everything you can find about tech, development and startups to get the low down before TechCrunch? Can you boil down complex, technical concepts to their very essence? Are you an analytical and conceptual thinker with creative brilliance and clarity?
Your key responsibilities
* Write brand and product-related long copy (e.g., website content, blog posts, technical documentation), create catchy short copy (e.g., social media content) and microcopy
* Deliver high quality, textually and tonally consistent content, always focused on our target groups in software development & B2B ecommerce and based on reliable, verifiable research, facts and background information
* Craft impeccable and impactful media publications such as press releases, print and online content, as well as reports
* Conceptualize and implement effective, target-group-oriented communication activities—from ideation, planning and development to publication, distribution and analysis
* Become part of the editorial & content team and collaborate with our tech, marketing and design teams, as well as our co-founders, to write and publish meaningful content
* Help us establish a sophisticated writing culture, day by day
Your qualifications
* Academic degree in either English language and/or literature, journalism, communication, public relations, media, or similar
* 2+ years of experience in creating high-quality content, ideally in tech and/or about startups (e.g., as a tech journalist, in technical documentation, or as a content creator at a tech startup)
* Excellent English, both written and spoken; ideally with full professional proficiency in German
* Analytical and conceptual thinker with creative brilliance and clarity
* Perfectionist with accuracy, analytical understanding and strong attention to detail
* Storyteller with the ability to captivate an audience with content about tech or business
* A passionate writer & reader as well as a techno-optimist at heart, as described here
