The Position We are seeking a highly experienced Global Automation Large CapEx Project Manager to lead the planning, execution and delivery of complex automation projects across our global manufacturing network. This role is pivotal in driving digital transformation and ensuring the successful deployment of our standard system automation landscape. This position can be filled either as Professional or Senior Manager Automation Projects. Tasks & responsibilities Key Responsibilities as Professional Manager Automation Projects As the Automation Lead Engineer or Automation Lead PMO, you will drive CapEx projects with total project costs exceeding u20ac50 million, ensuring their completion within the agreed timeline, scope, and budget. You will deliver projects using a globally standardized approach, aligning closely with business needs. Your role will involve communicating complex automation concepts in a way that is clear and understandable to all stakeholders. You will collaborate with global cross-functional teams, including Engineering, IT, Manufacturing, Quality, and EHS, fostering seamless cooperation and alignment. You will ensure that all projects comply with GMP, GAMP 5, and other regulatory requirements. Vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance management will be key aspects of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will actively manage risks, oversee change control processes, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Additional Key Responsibilities for Senior Manager Automation Projects As the Automation Discipline Lead, you will take ownership of CapEx projects with total project costs exceeding u20ac50 million, ensuring the necessary automation solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. You will unite and lead all automation functions within the project, including Process Automation and Building Automation, ensuring effective coordination and collaboration. Requirements Qualifications for Professional Manager Automation Projects Bacheloru2019s or Masteru2019s degree in Engineering, Automation, or related field, preferably with a focus on Industrial/Infrastructure Automation, and extensive experience in global project delivery Strong knowledge in Project Management Proven expertise in automation systems (e.g., DCS, SCADA, MES, PLCs) Strong knowledge of GMP, GAMP 5, and regulatory compliance Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills Excellent oral and written communication skills, with fluency in English and German Willingness to travel internationally up to 30% Additional Qualifications for Senior Manager Automation Projects Long experiences in managing Automation CapEx Projects >50 Mio. u20ac in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry Exceptional and proven leadership skills Ready to contact us?
