How you will get the job done • designing and overseeing the implementation of scalable, efficient data models integrating multiple sources in the form of Data Hub • defining patterns, templates, and best practices for data engineering • establishing data governance, access policies, and security frameworks for data layer / Data Hubs • ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and processing of large-scale datasets • preparing project documentation in accordance with internal procedures and processes (One Essentials) • preparing solutions for streaming and batch data ingestion, transformation, and updating models • implementing automated data validation, anomaly detection, and proactive issue resolution • working with engineers, analysts, and AI/ML teams to align architecture with business needs • maintaining comprehensive architecture documentation and mentoring engineers Skills and experience you will need • fluency in English • strong expertise in Azure-based data platforms and Databricks • deep knowledge of Databricks (primary tool), Delta Lake, Apache Spark • experience with dimensional, relational, and NoSQL models • strong background in data policies, lineage, and compliance • proficiency with Data Factory, ADLS, Synapse, Azure SQL, Event Hubs • experience with CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes/AKS, Docker • ability to define strategy, mentor engineers, and drive adoption of best practices • great ability to create and maintain clear architectural documentation
