Production & Operations focuses on designing, managing, and improving production processes and business operations, as well as manufacturing technologies and supply chains. The role involves working with modern systems such as SAP and dashboards, some of which are self-programmed. You can look forward to these exciting tasks:
* Disciplinary and technical leadership of the production teams in battery systems and battery components manufacturing (shift supervisors/leaders, machine operators)
* Management of personnel deployment across rotating 3-shift operations (early, late, night shifts) using production planning systems (workforce management)
* Execution of the planned production program with regard to output, quality, and cost
* Implementation of corrective actions in case of quality or performance deviations and continuous optimization (using the QRQC method)
* Conducting production-relevant instructions and briefings
* Ensuring compliance with standards regarding order, (technical) cleanliness, occupational safety, and environmental protection
* Recording and monitoring of production control data (quantities, downtimes, cycle times, scrap rates, rework)
* Close collaboration with relevant departments such as Quality, Production Management, Manufacturing Engineering, and Testing
* Leading daily shopfloor management for the past 24 production hours, including reporting to the Production Manager
This is what you bring to us:
* Successfully completed vocational training in a relevant technical field such as metal or electrical engineering, along with a technician or master craftsman qualification in metal engineering, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering
* Ideally, additional certification as an electrically qualified person for high-voltage battery systems
* Several years of hands-on professional experience in production, preferably in the automotive industry, with leadership experience in a production environment
* Strong motivation, proactivity, and perseverance, with a clear focus on results
* Confident use of PC applications including MS Office, SAP, and MES systems
* High level of teamwork, strong communication skills, customer orientation, and social competence
* Systematic and independent working style
