Production & Operations focuses on designing, managing, and improving production processes and business operations, as well as manufacturing technologies and supply chains. The role involves working with modern systems such as SAP and dashboards, some of which are self-programmed. This is a cross-functional and international environment that offers performance-driven, diverse challenges and exciting projects.
You can look forward to these exciting tasks:
* Disciplinary and technical leadership of the Manufacturing Engineering Team "ME Packline" at the Schierling plant
* Conducting shop floor meetings with a focus on ME-relevant KPIs (e.g., ratio, OLE, etc.) and defining measures in close coordination with production, quality, and logistics
* Responsibility for implementing measures for continuous equipment and process optimization to increase efficiency, quality, and cost reduction
* Responsibility for planning, controlling, and implementing technical changes to equipment and processes while adhering to schedules, budgets, and quality requirements
* Implementation and further development of processes, methods, and standards considering the KAIZEN philosophy and the objectives of Industry 4.0
This is what you bring to us:
* Successfully completed university degree, preferably in mechanical engineering, and several years of professional experience in the field of manufacturing engineering in the automotive/supplier industry
* Extensive technical knowledge in production planning and implementation of industrialization projects. Ideally in the field of Li-ion battery packs and modules or in highly automated assembly lines
* High level of assertiveness and decision-making skills, as well as experience and enthusiasm in leading technical teams
* Structured and organized working style, high self-motivation, and the ability to motivate and inspire the team, as well as to translate, communicate, and implement the company's vision
* Good interface management and strong communication skills
