AI, automation, Performance Max, first-party data, and new advertising opportunities in ChatGPT and other AI platforms are fundamentally changing search advertising. We are looking for an experienced individual who thinks strategically, sets high professional standards, and translates new developments into effective solutions early on.
As Head of Paid Search & AI Advertising, you will assume professional and strategic responsibility for our paid search division. You will develop future-proof strategies, coach the team, and play a key role in shaping how we build and further develop paid search, ChatGPT ads, and other AI advertising channels for international clients.

Tasks
What you will be doing with us:
- You will be responsible for the professional management of our paid search area and for complex, international customer accounts.
- You develop modern paid search and full-funnel strategies – data-driven, cross-channel and with a focus on sustainable growth.
- You translate strategic goals into clear priorities for operational implementation and ensure that resources are deployed where they will have the greatest impact.
- You are building a strong testing and learning culture: with hypotheses, experiments, clear learnings and concrete recommendations for action.
- You test new platform features, formats, automation and AI possibilities, and turn them into scalable standards for the team and customers.
- You advise clients and internal stakeholders on an equal footing – as a strategic sparring partner for performance, growth and further development.
- You set professional standards for methods, quality, account structures and strategic approaches in paid search.
- You coach and develop colleagues professionally and strengthen the team in day-to-day operations.
- You effectively contribute our paid search expertise to pitches, client presentations, and internal exchange formats.
qualification
You bring the following:
- At least 5 years of experience in paid search, SEA or search advertising
- Strategic understanding of performance marketing, business goals, data, and digital growth levers
- Experience with complex account structures, automation, smart bidding, Performance Max, and modern search setups
- Analytical thinking: You recognize patterns, set clear priorities, and derive concrete recommendations for action.
- Testing mindset: You develop hypotheses, conduct structured tests, and systematically improve accounts.
- Confident demeanor in customer consultations, sparring sessions, and presentations
- Structured, independent work style
- Fluent German skills (C2); English skills are an advantage.
