Your tasks
8. Physical laboratory analysis of semiconductor components: Investigation of failure patterns including documentation, reporting and customer communication
9. Supporting development and quality assurance: carrying out relevant analyses for both areas
10. Planning and execution of complex analyses: organization and execution of physical analyses and preparations on electronic components
11. Process and yield analysis: Analyses to support development, quality assurance and manufacturing
12. Use of advanced analysis techniques: Use of ultrasound microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, EDX, metallography, infrared microscopy to localize defects
13. Fault analysis and strategy development: development of failure hypotheses and analysis strategies to limit faults
14. Documentation of results and customer communication: Recording analysis results and communicating them to customers
15. Evaluation of new component samples: assessment of prototypes from development and production
Your profile
16. Completed Master's degree in physics, microsystems technology, materials science, electrical engineering (semiconductor technology) or similar
17. Good knowledge and experience in the physical analysis of electronic components
18. Previous knowledge of analysis methods such as light microscopy, X-ray, IR microscopy, SAM, SEM, EDX and electrical measurement technology is an advantage
19. Good product and process knowledge of electronic components, especially in the field of power semiconductors (Si, SiC)
20. Solid knowledge of assembly and connection technology as well as technology and function of electronic components
21. Confident demeanor, determination, ability to work under pressure, creativity and flexibility
22. Very good written and spoken German and English skills
