We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to represent the Owner on a laboratory facility build in Germany. The role focuses on managing general contractors and key subcontractors, ensuring all construction activities meet safety, quality, schedule, and cost targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the Owner’s on-site representative, overseeing all construction works.
* Manage and coordinate general contractors and subcontractors to deliver project milestones.
* Monitor progress, quality, safety, and budget compliance.
* Review and validate schedules, reports, and change requests.
* Ensure adherence to German construction standards.
* Lead site meetings and maintain alignment between design, construction, and client teams.
* Support commissioning and project handover.
Qualifications
* Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar.
* Strong experience, including client-side or owner’s representative roles.
* Proven experience in lab, pharma, or high-tech facility construction.
* Strong understanding of German construction processes and regulations.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and reporting skills.
* Proficient with project management software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
