Overview
Tasks/Aufgaben Define and steer the strategic direction and 5-year planning of TÜV SÜD's electrical energy infrastructure transformation portfolio in alignment with corporate goals. Own conception, rollout, and continuous improvement of services (ESS, platform services, simulation, data analytics, power system optimization). Drive acquisition, onboarding, and execution of strategic projects, ensuring market fit and thematic alignment. Lead product portfolio definition, innovation roadmap, market research, and translation of insights into scalable service concepts. Build and lead a multidisciplinary team and competence center, supervising staff strategically and disciplinarily. Collaborate cross-divisionally and with key accounts on tenders, bids, pricing, sales, marketing strategies, and client alignment. Represent the company externally, ensure revenue growth, financial target setting, KPIs, resource allocation, and reporting of strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
* 5–10 years of experience in energy systems or a related sector, with deep industry knowledge and service expertise.
* Proven success in portfolio development and commercial leadership within industry-focused services.
* Experience in leading and orchestrating large customer projects in the context of the green energy transition, preferably as a strategy consultant or Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) consultant.
* Strong track record in developing and executing 5-year strategic plans and annual sales budgets.
* Strategic, entrepreneurial, and collaborative mindset.
* Excellent skills in systems thinking, stakeholder engagement, project management, and negotiation/influencing.
* Fluent in English (written and spoken); German skills are an advantage.
