What you'll do As an experienced Security Architect you will join our Security team, within our Labs organization, where we work on cutting edge technologies and prepare them for rapid commercialization. You will focus on architectural and microarchitectural vulnerability analysis of RISC-V processors and subsystems; design, modelling and prototyping of new security architectures and concepts; working with industry partners and academia to evaluate, steer and mature new industrially promising security technologies; providing expert security knowledge within Codasip and to external customers; and helping to write technical grant proposals. You will work closely with our CPU architects, verification teams and CPU designers to understand the low-level hardware design and suggest practical countermeasures where appropriate. The role demands attention to detail, flexibility and lateral thinking. You will be working on both short-term customer-driven projects, as well as longer-term strategic Codasip software products. You will Do vulnerability analysis of processor designs and SoC-level subsystems at the architectural and microarchitectural levels against specified threat models Write threat models based on input from Product Management and designing corresponding reference security architectures at the core and SoC level Lead architectural design, development and analysis of security solutions using virtual platforms and/or FPGA based platforms Provide expert knowledge to CPU architects and other internal IP design teams Liaise with academic and industrial partners Research and contribute to the proving and adoption of new security technologies, analysis techniques and tools Support grant bids by providing technical knowledge and ideas Keep up to date with the latest attacks and countermeasures Requirements You have Strong recent and relevant experience, and long track record in semiconductor security architecture at the core and/or SoC-level In-depth knowledge of attacks against SoCs and processors and the corresponding practical countermeasures (hardware/software and invasive/non-invasive remote and physical attacks) Excellent written and oral communications skills, including experience of writing security specifications and requirements Experience with leading technical research and implementation projects A flexible and adaptable attitude to work A desire to learn and also positively influence technical direction You might also have Knowledge of security standards such as ISO 21434 and working to a defined security process Experience with working with software virtual platforms and FPGA platforms Previous experience working with academia Cryptographic engineering knowledge Experience with RISC-V processors Benefits What's in it for you?
