Your mission as Technical Bid Manager for military radar and optronic systems:
1. Support the Commercial Bid Team in preparing technical offers for German and international customers – covering standard equipment, integrated sensor systems, as well as services such as spares and repairs.
2. Shape the technical content of bids, process compliance matrices, and define solutions and baselines in close cooperation with Product Management.
3. Act as a reliable contact to ensure customer satisfaction and coordinate with international Thales units during ongoing bids.
4. Work closely with R&D, Quality, Contract and Configuration Management, and Manufacturing to ensure timely and high-quality preparation of technical bid sections.
What we look forward to:
5. A university degree (at least Bachelor) in a business or technical field, or a comparable qualification, combined with engineering experience in realizing technical solutions.
6. Sound knowledge of military radar, optronic systems and software control systems, along with familiarity with Thales internal processes.
7. Fluency in German and English is required; additional languages such as French are an advantage.
8. Strong technical affinity and willingness to learn, paired with solid skills in common Office applications (Word, Project, PowerPoint, Excel).
9. Team-oriented mindset, convincing appearance towards colleagues and customers, flexibility and commitment, readiness to travel nationally and internationally, and the ability to perform under pressure while taking initiative.
