The Role
We are supporting a leading defence technology organisation involved in complex military satellite communications programmes. This position sits within the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) function and focuses on configuration and data management across high-security defence projects.
You will play a key role in maintaining data integrity, traceability, and configuration control within a highly regulated military environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Capture, process, and maintain data within the configuration management system of a military SATCOM programme
* Record, assign, and manage serial numbers and design status data to ensure full traceability
* Allocate and maintain document numbers for engineering and ILS documentation in line with project standards
* Monitor and maintain the integrity of the configuration management system across the SATCOM programme and additional defence projects as directed by project leadership
* Ensure compliance with military logistics and configuration management processes
Your Profile
* Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification within Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)
* Experience applying integrated and holistic logistics concepts within military or defence programmes
* Practical experience in configuration management, ideally within defence environments
* Prior exposure to military customers; previous military background is advantageous
* Strong attention to detail, structured working style, and high quality awareness
* Assertive communicator with the ability to collaborate across technical and project teams
* Proficient in MS Office and SAP R/3
* Fluent German and English skills (written and spoken)
