About the Role
AtriCure is seeking a dynamic and strategic Area Director to lead and inspire our commercial teams across Germany and surrounding distributor countries. This high‑impact leadership role is responsible for driving regional growth, strengthening brand presence, and fostering strategic relationships with physicians, hospitals, and payers.
What You’ll Do
* Lead and coach Regional Directors, Sales Managers, and Clinical Specialists to drive revenue and brand awareness
* Set performance goals and oversee sales forecasting activities
* Collaborate with Marketing and Professional Education to target high–potential areas and optimize campaign impact
* Monitor and analyze weekly sales data to inform strategic decisions
* Ensure consistent communication and knowledge sharing across teams
* Build and maintain strategic account plans to deliver superior customer value
* Represent AtriCure at national and international events and support corporate initiatives
* Identify and develop talent to grow the team and business
* Strengthen clinical and strategic relationships across the region
What We’re Looking For
* Bachelor’s degree
* 10+ years of successful medical device sales and/or sales management experience
* Strong understanding of business drivers for growth, profitability, and cash flow
* Strategic thinker with the ability to overcome sales obstacles and create impactful solutions
* Proven leadership and coaching capabilities
* Willingness and ability to travel 50%+ across the region
