You take end-to-end ownership of the global Travel & Expense (T&E) process You establish, stabilize, and continuously optimize a scalable T&E framework You develop, implement, and govern global travel policies and standards You lead a project-based setup phase to build a best-in-class T&E environment You drive the selection, implementation, and rollout of a centralized T&E tool, replacing fragmented systems You ensure strong user adoption, process efficiency, and a seamless employee experience You own and apply country-specific travel expense regulations across all markets You ensure correct implementation of international rules, such as per diems in Germany, USA, and Spain You act as a subject matter expert for complex T&E topics and ensure compliance with local requirements You serve as the global point of contact for all T&E-related questions You advise internal stakeholders on travel expense policies, compliance, and best practices You translate complex regulations into clear, practical guidance for the organization You ensure seamless integration of T&E processes into Accounts Payable and ERP systems You oversee correct account assignment, cost center allocation, and data quality You collaborate closely with Finance, HR, and international teams to align processes You identify process gaps and drive continuous improvements You support standardization and scalability of finance processes You contribute to automation and digitalization initiatives within the finance function What should you bring along? You have 5 years of professional experience in Finance Operations with a focus on Travel & Expense or a closely related field You do not need a formal degree – what matters most is your proven hands-on experience and deep expertise in Travel & Expense You possess deep expertise in international Travel & Expense management and a strong understanding of country-specific regulations You have proven experience in building, transforming, or scaling T&E processes, ideally in a project or implementation context You have hands-on experience with T&E tools, such as SAP Concur, and ERP systems, with Oracle NetSuite being a plus You have a strong ability to translate complex policies into clear and actionable guidance You possess an excellent process mindset with the ability to design and implement scalable solutions You have a hands-on, execution-driven approach with a high level of ownership You have strong communication and stakeholder management skills in an international environment You are fluent in German and English What do we offer?
