Your area of work
The mission of our Finance Governance & Controls unit is to define, implement and maintain comprehensive frameworks regarding Business Process Management, Internal Control Systems & KPI/KRI Reporting for Financial Accounting & Controlling (FA&C). We support the FA&C Teams in ensuring stability and quality in essential FA&C processes and in enabling valuable “change processes” with respect to planned changes within DBG. This includes monitoring, measuring and providing feedback on End-to-End processes as well as compliance with the Internal Control System
Your responsibilities
1. Process Optimization and Innovation: Conducting continuous analysis of existing processes to identify opportunities for improvement in terms of efficiency, quality and cost effectiveness, as well as monitoring the implementation of process improvements and modifications to enhance the pan-European process landscape
2. Project Management: Leading, managing and implementing projects related to process design, modelling, optimization, and improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes
3. Process Modelling and Development: Supporting in the design, development, and modelling of efficient and effective processes
4. Quality Control and Assurance: Ensuring the quality and consistency of processes as well as adherence to required standards and regulatory compliance
5. Documentation and Reporting: Documenting processes, improvements, and changes. Identifying and enforcing delivery of KPIs/KRIs and creating reports to communicate findings, recommendations, and project progress to all stakeholders
6. Training and Mentoring: Providing training and consulting to business process owners & business process managers, as well as other relevant stakeholders, to enhance process modelling, development, and optimization across the Area
Your profile
7. University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent professional qualification
8. 5+ years of professional experience in a comparable position or in consulting
9. Sound knowledge of business process modeling methods and techniques (e.g. Six Sigma)
10. Familiarity with process automation technologies such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Business Process Management (BPM) systems is an advantage
11. SAP knowledge and/ or experience in driving SAP S/4HANA changes are a plus
12. Team player mentality that can excel in a multicultural environment while having an independent, structured and responsible way of working
13. Excellent presentation and communication skills as well as resilience and positive assertiveness
14. Strong analytical and conceptual skills, critical thinking, quick comprehension of complex topics, as well as ability toidentify problems and propose solutions
15. Fluent communication skills in spoken and written English (knowledge of German is an advantage)
16. Competent use of MS Office applications (especially PowerPoint) rounds off your profile
