Key responsibilities
The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid
You will be mainly accountable for:
* Analyzing complex mechanical systems and exploring the introduction of sustainability concepts into product development.
* Learning more about sustainability and life cycle assessments based on bill of materials and 3D models.
* Getting familiar with the newest AI technologies like LLM that can support extracting information on geometry and manufacturing from bill of materials .
* Comparing different AI approaches to find the best solution.
* Collaborating with our team members and learning about new technological trends and future control and protection devices.
* Documenting and presenting scientific results in a professional environment at ABB.
Qualifications for the role
* You are studying for a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar field.
* You have good knowledge and experience in coding, in particular Matlab or Python.
* Experience with the use of LLM/AI is beneficial but not required.
* You are fluent in English (written and oral).
