I am partnered with a global testing organisation to identify an experienced Director of Business Development to lead commercial growth across the DACH region.


🌍 About the Role

As the regional commercial lead, you will drive the expansion of bioanalytical and laboratory testing services across pharma, biotech, and life science markets. You will be responsible for shaping and executing the BD strategy, developing high-value opportunities, and strengthening key client relationships across the region.


Responsibilities & Qualifications

* Lead all business development activities across the DACH region
* Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities
* Own strategic customer relationships and ensure long‑term partnership growth
* Promote the organisation’s bioanalytical and laboratory testing capabilities
* Work closely with the Regional General Manager to align commercial goals with operational delivery
* Contribute to S&OP planning and regional forecasting
* Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
* Proven track record in business development within bioanalytical, laboratory testing, CRO, or related life science services
* Strong network across pharma, biotech, and drug development sectors
* Strategic mindset with hands‑on commercial execution skills
* Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, technical teams, and leadership
* Willingness to travel across the region as needed
