Electrical Fan Sizing Model Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to develop an electrical fan sizing model that will support the design of ventilation systems.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, aeronautics or electrical engineering and experience in programming languages such as Python or Matlab. Additionally, they will have a good understanding of physical laws and be able to apply them to design and optimize electrical fans.
The role involves building up a parametric sizing model based on general physical laws, including aerodynamic sizing, electrical motor sizing, and control system design. The model should also take into account cost drivers and be user-friendly for system designers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Elaboration of physical laws necessary for sizing of an electrical fan
* Build up of a sizing model using Python or Matlab
* Validation of the model through comparison with available fan data and analysis of deviations
* Continuous exchange with system designers to ensure the model meets their needs
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
* Enrolled full-time student in mechanical engineering, aeronautics or electrical engineering
* First practical experience in programming languages such as Python and design of turbo machines and electrical machines
* Fluent in English
