In your role as a SILS-Manager (Sequencing and assembly centre) you have a key leadership position being responsible for managing and optimizing assembly activities in our Just-in-Sequence (JIS) production, with a clear development path toward a Plant Manager function.
In close collaboration with production teams, industrial engineering, logistics, and OEM customers, you ensure assembly operations meet business objectives in terms of safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance, while driving continuous improvement and team engagement across multiple shifts.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage assembly operations in a Just-in-Sequence (JIS) automotive environment to meet production, quality, safety, and delivery objectives.
* Act as the main interface with German OEM customers, ensuring production requirements and standards
* Implement and monitor quality methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives to secure robust and reliable assembly output
* Supervise and develop Assembly Leaders and production teams, fostering strong teamwork, clear communication, and accountability.
* Ensure compliance with industrial, safety, and regulatory standards and manage interactions with the Works Council in a manufacturing environment.
* Contribute to site performance reviews and support long-term industrial strategy
* Coordinate with industrial engineering, logistics, and IT/industrial systems to optimize assembly operations and sequencing processes.
Your profile:
* Degree in Industrial Engineering or a comparable technical field.
* Minimum 3 to 5 years proven of experience in an automotive manufacturing or assembly environment
* Strong knowledge of Just-in-Sequence (JIS)
* Proven experience in leading teams in a multi-shift environment and fostering effective teamwork and communication
* Solid understanding of quality methodologies, safety standards, and industrial performance management.
* Experience working with German OEM customers
* Knowledge of electronics and technical assembly processes is a strong advantage.
* Fluent in German and English is a must have
