About the role
You will lead strategic and tactical procurement projects, act as a business partner to stakeholders, and be the go-to expert in FM procurement.
How you will contribute
1. Strategic Leadership: Initiate, draft, validate, sign off, implement, and execute the FM procurement strategy aligned with the Procurement Leadership Team.
2. Expertise & Visibility: Be the recognized procurement expert in FM, accessible and visible across the organization.
3. Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and deliver tailored procurement solutions, including: Integrated Facility Management (phased implementation), Tail spend solutions across Europe, Spend consolidation across DP World entities, Tendering for PPE & uniforms, Collaboration with P&O Ferries on janitorial services.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration: Lead or participate in teams to review categories, supply base, cost drivers, market trends, and sourcing strategies.
5. Supplier & Contract Management: Manage supplier relationships and contracts at strategic and tactical levels, including performance reviews, risk assessments, and development plans.
6. Cost Optimization: Develop and implement annual cost reduction strategies through negotiation, sourcing, packaging, logistics, and supplier innovation.
7. Market Intelligence: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FM categories, procurement landscape, and cost trends.
8. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure accurate records for quotes, cost estimates, supplier performance, and spend analysis. Interface with Legal for contract validation.
What You Will Bring
9. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (required).
10. CIPS/NEVI certification or actively pursuing.
11. 3–5 years of relevant experience in FM procurement.
12. Proven ability to develop and execute procurement strategies.
13. Experience with Integrated Facility Management models across Europe.
14. Knowledge of soft and hard FM services (., janitorial, waste, PPE, building maintenance).
15. Ability to review FM contracts from commercial and legal perspectives.
16. Strategic sourcing expertise and stakeholder management skills.
17. Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
18. Fluent in English (business level); additional language preferred & willingness to travel up to 25% across Europe
