To strengthen our dynamic and global IT team, we are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer (m/f/d).
As a Cloud Engineer at REPA, you will play a critical role in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure - primarily on Microsoft Azure, while supporting multi-cloud and hybrid environments. You’ll collaborate with architecture, DevOps, security, and development teams to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performance systems.

Job Description
* Design and implement cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, and potentially AWS/GCP, using best practices for security, availability, and performance
* Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep
* Configure and maintain networking components including VNets, load balancers, and VPN gateways
* Develop and operate CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, Bitbucket pipelines
* Deploy and manage IaaS and PaaS services such as AKS, Azure App Services, Azure SQL, and Storage Accounts
* CDN management (Cloudflare, Amplience, etc.)
* Implement monitoring and alerting solutions (sumologic, prtg, Pingdom, Newrelic, …)
* Optimize cloud performance, cost, and security using tools like Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud, and Azure Policy
* Troubleshoot infrastructure issues across environments and ensure high system reliability
* Document cloud architecture, operational procedures, and runbooks
* Stay up to date with cloud technologies and recommend improvements
Qualifications
Must-Have
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering roles
* Deep expertise with Microsoft Azure, and familiarity with AWS or GCP
* Strong knowledge of networking, security, IAM, and cloud-native services
* Solid experience with IaC tools ( Terraform, Bicep, ARM, Ansible )
* Proficiency in scripting languages ( PowerShell, Bash, or Python )
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred
* Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400 ; or AWS equivalents)
* Experience with containers and orchestration ( Docker, Kubernetes, AKS )
* CI/CD concepts and tools
* Experience using version control (Git)
* Experience in hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments
* Familiarity with Entra ID (Azure AD) and Microsoft 365 integrations
* Exposure to compliance frameworks (ISO, NIST, HIPAA)
* Familiarity with service mesh, serverless, and microservices architectures
* Experience in regulated or large-scale enterprise environments
* Azure Open AI
