Medical Excellence Manager
About the Role:
The Medical Excellence Manager will play a key role in driving local medical excellence and operations activities to ensure compliance with AbbVie processes, the Code of Business Conduct, ethics, regulatory requirements, and local laws. This position requires a strong understanding of medical affairs and the ability to develop and implement processes, tools, and materials to drive medical excellence.
The successful candidate will have experience in project management, including successful business initiative implementation, as well as 2-4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with proven expertise in at least one therapeutic area. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is a keen sense of emerging communication trends and the ability to influence without direct authority.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement processes, tools, and materials to drive medical excellence
* Proactively contribute to and implement global strategies in close cross-functional collaboration, supporting best-in-class medical infield team excellence
* Monitor current market trends and derive actionable recommendations
* Oversee internal medical communication initiatives together with Corporate Communication, BTS, CEX, and Marketing teams
* Lead initiatives to enhance excellence of field medical teams in collaboration with CEX, BTS, and medical training managers
Qualifications:
* Scientific degree; advanced degree (e.g., MS, PhD, MD, PharmD) preferred
* Excellent German (written/spoken), fluent in English
* Good experience in project management
* Proficient with Office 365
