Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist
Our company is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in Europe.
* Ensure that inventory levels are optimized, taking into account product lifecycle times, and guarantee the availability of products for the European market.
* Collaborate closely with the Demand Planning Team and act as a logistical interface between European sales organizations and the Customer Service Team.
* Monitor delivery schedules, manage excess stock, and drive expediting processes in case of inventory shortages.
* Introduce new products, manage associated ramp-up and phase-out planning, and execute demand planning for orders placed with external suppliers.
* Plan and track market promotions effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
* Inventory Management: Ensure optimal inventory levels by considering product lifecycle times.
* Demand Planning: Collaborate with the Demand Planning Team to anticipate and meet customer demand.
* Logistical Interface: Serve as the primary point of contact between European sales organizations and the Customer Service Team.
* Delivery Scheduling: Monitor and manage delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of goods.
* Expedited Processes: Drive expediting processes in cases of inventory shortages to minimize disruptions.
