Then come and join our global team as Senior Data Scientist (f/m/d) to contribute to the success of Siemens Healthineers Procurement Digital Innovation and Development Center. Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours. Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries. Your tasks and responsibilities: You develop innovative digital and AI solutions for the procurement organization, with a strong focus on designing and implementing AI assistants and intelligent automation tools to drive efficiency and business impact You act as a full-stack AI developer, handling the full lifecycle from data engineering and modeling to algorithm development, programming, and user interface design Lead technical projects and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on data science methods, coding best practices, and architectural decisions to ensure high-quality results Analyze and interpret complex procurement datasets, identify optimization opportunities, and translate findings into scalable, data-driven solutions supporting strategic decision-making Collaborate closely in a global, cross-functional innovation team, working with internal stakeholders and experts to deliver cutting-edge solutions in an agile environment Your qualifications and experience: You have a completed Master's/Diploma degree in data science, mathematics, (business) computer science, statistics or a comparable field You acquired several years of professional experience in the areas of AI/ML, Business Analytics, Big Data and ideally in procurement or supply chain management You have strong knowledge of databases, data modeling, cloud platforms, data mining and analytics, RPA, and AI technologies (ML, NLP, conversational platforms); advanced skills in SQL, Python, and Azure You are very familiar with CI/CD concepts, AI/ML frameworks and libraries. Experience with tools such as Snowflake, GitHub, Databricks, OpenAI or Copilot is a plus You have a solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, data preprocessing and feature engineering; experience with API integration and data/AI regulatory compliance Knowledge in IT Software Development and project management is a plus Your attributes and skills: You are a positive team player, sharing best practices and focusing on results With strong stakeholders and users focus, excellent communication and presentation skills in English, you are able to present your results adequately to various audience (managers, stakeholders, end users, experts) You have an autonomous, structured and well-organized way of working with excellent time management and critical thinking skills As you will be working on global use cases, you are willing to go on national and international business trips Depending on the experience and qualifications background of the applicant, task enrichment into the area above the general pay scale is possible.
