Job Description
We are seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to join our team. This position will be based at our office and involves monitoring all company-wide IT applications and infrastructures.
* You will process IT technical faults or initiate solution measures to rectify IT faults.
* You will forward error messages and troubleshooting to the responsible departments.
* You will report and process IT security incidents and open fault reports with providers.
* You will process tickets and document the processes in the customer information system.
* You will create and update documentation within the framework of BSI and ISO9001:2015 and participate in audits.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A degree in computer science, business informatics or a completed apprenticeship in the IT sector with additional acquired skills and experience.
* Professional experience from the IT service desk.
* Knowledge of ITIL Foundation V3/V4.
* In-depth knowledge of system management and service management tools as well as Microsoft and Unix operating systems.
* Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 certification is desirable.
* Comprehensive knowledge of the development and provision of solutions based on the underlying systems (SharePoint/Confluence).
* High assertiveness and communication skills as well as organizational skills.
* Very good analytical thinking skills and a high level of self-motivation.
* An independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working.
* Very good written and spoken English skills.
* A Class B driving license.
