CVS engineering GmbH manufactures compressors and vacuum pumps specifically designed for mobile applications (primarily in trucks, railways, and buses).

This enables us to ensure the quality and operational reliability of all components and to respond quickly and individually to nearly all customer requirements.
Your role
The Technical Service Specialist plays a critical role in responding to request for help from customers who encounter issues with the product, Service or application. He/She is strengthening the company’s market presence in the urban transportation and vehicle installation sector for mobile compressors and vacuum pumps. By combining market insights, technical expertise, and strong customer relationships, this role ensures alignment with the company’s strategic goals while delivering tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
1. Build up a strong knowledge of the offered products and the applications they are used for
2. Handle customer technical requests & warranty cases
3. Provide the customer timely and effective solutions
4. Provide customers quotes for required parts and enter orders in the system
5. Analyze root causes and develop improvement ideas
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
7. Work closely with sales, enginering and production to ensure brand consistency and support of customer requirements
To succeed, you will need
Education/ Knowledge / Experience:
8. Engineering degree or similar technical or commercial discipline / or equivalent work experience
9. At least 5+ years’ experience in technical sales or service in the field of industry or aftermarket business
10. Knowledge of industrial BtoB
11. Knowledge of urban transport, truck, trailer business or vacuum business is a plus
12. Very good technical understanding
Know-how:
13. Strong interpersonal communication, including listening skills, conflict management, influence
14. Ability to analyse failures and root causes
15. Ability to work in a complex matrix organization with numerous requirements
16. Fluent german, advanced level English both written and spoken. Further languages is a plus
17. Knowledge of Office
