Job Description:

1. Ensure manufacturability already in the product development phase by supporting running development projects and taking ownership of dedicated deliverables of the product development flow
2. Support and drive the assessment of field returns and production deviations, coordinating further steps such as physical and electrical failure analysis including their technical interpretation
3. Take responsibility for special lot clearance and actively manage associated risks
4. Identify and drive cost reduction potentials for released products, through reduction of test costs and evaluating technical implications
5. Responsible for yield optimization for released products covering multiple frontend and backend production sites
6. Become an expert in statistical data evaluation, striving for continuous improvement of our methodology and tooling landscape to enable the entire product engineering team
7. Align technical evaluations, conclusions, and derived decisions with a wide variety of cross-functional stakeholders in an international, multicultural working environment.
You have excellent team skills and continuously display your proactivity and self-reliance. Furthermore, you focus your creativity and knowledge on producing results with real added value. You are willing to collaborate with diverse teams from different cultures, utilizing your excellent communication skills.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
1. A degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Physics / Microelectronics / Semiconductor Technology), a PhD would be a plus
2. +5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, ideally within the role of Product Engineering
3. Good analytical & problem-solving skills
4. Good methodology development skills
5. Knowledge of scripting tools, such as Python, VBA, would be a plus
6. Fluent English communication skills and the desire to learn German
7. Decision-making and communication skills in a complex matrix organization & customer/stakeholder management
