Your future contribution
We’re looking for a hands-on, impact driven Director of Digital Product to lead the evolution of our customer facing tools and experiences. This role is designed for a confident and proactive product leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is deeply comfortable shaping scalable, user-centric solutions within the travel industry.
You will have a proven track record of aligning cross-functional product strategies with real-time user needs delivering meaningful experiences to both guests and hosts, across B2C and B2B audiences while driving cultural, operational, and digital transformation.
Your background demonstrates a well balanced focus across both consumer and business-facing platforms, reinforcing your commitment to exceptional outcomes whether the end user is an individual traveller or a major host solution. You will be highly skilled at influencing within a matrixed organisation, where success often depends on collaboration with teams beyond your direct line of leadership but you still thrive on owning the product outcome end to end.
You’ll be confident navigating complex, high volume user journeys under time pressure, with a deep understanding of the demands of seasonal or event driven traffic patterns. You will play a critical role in shaping and scaling the systems that underpin our host and guest interactions—ensuring they remain resilient, intuitive, and uniquely valuable across the wider HomeToGo group.
How you’ll add value
* Lead the end-to-end agile product lifecycle across customer facing B2C and B2B platforms prioritising speed, scalability, and reliability in tools that serve both guests and hosts with a data informed approach.
* Partner closely with group functions, business leaders, and commercial stakeholders to translate customer and business insight into high-impact digital product outcomes.
* Champion cross-functional collaboration to drive iterative improvement, knowledge sharing, and shared success across product, design, engineering, and operations.
* Establish and embed OMKI (HomeToGo OKR) driven processes to ensure the platforms and services you oversee are continuously evolving to support growth, innovation, and operational resilience.
* Leverage your experience with enterprise-grade platforms (such as SAP, Salesforce, AWS, Jira) to inform product decision-making and platform strategy.
* Maintain consistent, high-quality delivery across distributed teams ensuring clear ownership, prioritisation, and a strong results focus in line with expectations in a public company context.
* Serve as the connective tissue between guest and host experience needs, commercial goals, and the technical execution required to realise them.
* Partner with group, business line stakeholders, and functional leads to turn opportunities into outcomes.
You’ll be successful in this role if you
* Demonstrate a proven track record of fast, impactful delivery – delivering digital product outcomes at pace without compromising quality or customer experience.
* Bring deep operational experience in tech-enabled product organisations – leading hands-on within a matrixed or group structure (experience in travel tech is a plus, but not essential).
* Apply strong commercial acumen and technical fluency – bridging commercial objectives with technical delivery, and translating across business and engineering without loss of clarity.
* Embrace accountability and an outcome-driven mindset – taking ownership of results, learning quickly from setbacks, and motivating others to stay focused on value delivery.
* Foster collaborative and influential cross-functional leadership – bringing together product, design, engineering, and stakeholders with transparency and trust to drive unified direction.
* Adopt a systemic view with a pragmatic execution style – stepping back to identify platform-wide patterns and constraints, while also diving into operational detail when needed.
* Exhibit strong data fluency and a product analytics mindset – leveraging data to inform decision-making, define success metrics, and validate hypotheses.
* Manage complex, time-critical decisions with confidence – balancing near-term delivery with long-term product evolution, and prioritising effectively in a dynamic environment.
* Champion a results-oriented, iterative mindset – believing in shipping value early and often, favouring iteration and learning over perfectionism.
* Stay calm, composed, and resilient under pressure – navigating ambiguity, managing incidents, and guiding teams through challenging or high-stakes situations.
