The Technologie- und Gründerzentrum Halle GmbH (TGZ), located on the vibrant Weinberg Campus, acts as a key link between high-tech companies, research institutions, Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, and a growing community of startups and innovation networks.
More than 15,000 people study, research, and work on campus in forward-looking fields—turning ideas into innovations. Among the pillars supporting this innovation ecosystem is a targeted accelerator program designed to support startups from pre-seed to growth stage in sectors such as biotech, life science, med tech, bioeconomy, platform economy, AI and digital business models.
The program supports startups in shaping viable, scalable, and investor-ready ventures with a clear market orientation—thereby contributing directly to the transformation of the regional economy.
As Program & Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for driving our accelerator programs and strengthening our innovation ecosystem. You design and manage program activities, support participating startups throughout their journey, and ensure smooth coordination with mentors, coaches, and partners. At the same time, you build and nurture lasting partnerships with investors, mentors, alumni, startups, and strategic stakeholders from science, business, and politics. You connect the right people, create long-term value for our community, and ensure our programs are firmly anchored in the national startup and innovation landscape.
Manage and coordinate accelerator programs end-to-end: onboarding, workshops, coaching, mentoring, and Demo Days
Build, manage, and grow partnerships with investors, mentors, alumni, startups, and industry stakeholders
Monitor projects and prepare reports, ensuring compliance with funding requirements
Organize selected events (e.g. partner meetings, startup pitches, delegation visits) as touchpoints for the community
Provide ongoing support and guidance to startups, ensuring program quality and participant success
Degree in business, innovation management, entrepreneurship or related field
~2+ years of professional experience in program management, partnerships or community building, ideally in a startup or innovation environment
~ Strong skills in program design, stakeholder communication and relationship management
~ Excellent communication in German and English (spoken & written)
~ Independent, structured, and hands-on working style
~ Experience with publicly funded projects is an advantage
