Syntegon Technology GmbH is based at our Business Excellence Center in Stuttgart, which is also the headquarters of the Syntegon Group, and has around 250 employees. The location houses Syntegon's central functions and serves as a service hub for our group's globally active business divisions.Your tasks
In this position, you will be responsible for the holistic security architecture of the IT and OT environments, including on-premises systems, hybrid landscapes, and cloud infrastructures.
* You will develop and implement network zoning models (IT/OT separation, DMZ, management zones) and design segmentation and micro-segmentation concepts
* You will also design and implement jump host solutions and privileged access management (PAM) systems, which form the basis for secure administration processes
* You will develop and implement secure architectures for Active Directory, Hybrid Identity, and Microsoft 365/Azure (Entra ID)
* Furthermore, you will actively contribute to and further develop security standards, hardening specifications, and target architectures. In addition, you will advise on important technology and architecture decisions
* You will take on the role of security lead in infrastructure and transformation projects, accompany the implementation through to operational use, and work closely with network, infrastructure, OT, cloud, and workplace teams
Your profile
* You have a university degree in computer science, IT/cybersecurity, business informatics, or a comparable technical qualification and have many years of practical experience as a security architect, network security architect, or infrastructure architect
* You also have very good knowledge of zoning, firewalls, segmentation, and the design and security of IT/OT security architectures
* You have practical experience with jump hosts and PAM solutions and possess in-depth expertise in Active Directory security, including tiering models, privileged access, and certificate infrastructures
* You also have experience in hybrid and cloud environments, particularly Azure and MicrosoftEntra ID; knowledge of AWS is a plus
* Strong architectural and conceptual skills, a structured approach to work, assertiveness and a sense of ownership, as well as fluency in German and English round off your profile
