Join us in shaping the future of cyber technology!*MAG IS OFFERING UP TO A $10k SIGN-ON BONUS FOR QUALIFIED CANDIDATES!*Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDuties include, but are not limited to:Collaborates with system users, requirements owners, and developmental contractors to translate operational requirements into software requirements, designs, and implementationsParticipates in planning, coordinating, scheduling, directing, and controlling engineering and technical support activities applicable to software development and integration of software tools/capabilities onto a variety of execution platformsParticipates in the development and execution of software and system test strategiesReviews and assesses developmental contractor software code to ensure compliance with government-provided coding and cybersecurity standardsParticipates in government oversight of contractor software development activities, to include as a supporting team member in agile development paradigm activities (e.g., scrums, sprint retrospectives)Developing software acceptance criteria and generating recommendations to the government Assistant Product Manager regarding development, development planning, development/test automation tools, requirements prioritization, test, evaluation, cross-system integration, fielding/delivery, and post-delivery support of software-based systemsProvides integrated, multi-disciplinary solution recommendations for resolution of technical problemsRequirementsMinimum RequirementsExperience leading a "large team" (e.g. oversaw at least two agile teams)Ability to work on and lead multi-functional/multi-disciplinary teamsExperience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework)Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Git)Familiar with DoD 5000 acquisition lifecycle processesExperience with continuous integration and continuous deliveryExperience with Unix-based (e.g. RedHat, Ubuntu, etc.) and Windows Operating SystemsFamiliarity with Application Programming InterfacesExperience with Ansible PlaybooksExperience with Python and/or Java developmentExcellent communications skills including the ability to generate and deliver high-level technical briefings on complex topics to senior leadersClearanceActive TS with SCI eligibility; ability to attain TS/SCIExperience10 years of direct experience with software development3 years of experience managing software development teams3 years in cyber or C4ISR systemsEducationMaster’s Degree in an Engineering or Information Technology disciplineFour additional years and bachelor’s degree in lieu of a master’s degree or 8 additional years if no degree can substitute the Master's DegreeOther QualificationsAbility to work in an office/field/lab environmentsAbility to travel conus 25%Special NoteThe position is contingent upon candidate’s ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements.Company PolicyMAG Aerospace (MAG) is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and is committed to Diversity and Inclusion. Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $190,000.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD).
