Senior Procurement Officer
As a seasoned procurement expert, you will oversee the entire procurement process, from planning and preparation to execution and evaluation. Your responsibilities will include managing procurement procedures, drafting and publishing procurement documents, communicating with stakeholders, advising on procurement policy, collaborating with internal teams, conducting commercial negotiations, supporting evaluation committees, providing feedback to unsuccessful candidates, developing technical specifications and pricing terms, obtaining approvals for tenders and contracts, and assessing commercial and compliance risks.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to develop effective solutions and drive business results. You will be responsible for ensuring that procurement processes are efficient, transparent, and compliant with relevant regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* University degree in a relevant field
* Minimum three years of experience in procurement, preferably in an international organization
* Experience in preparing procurement documents and managing procurement procedures and commercial negotiations
* Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
* Additional language skills a plus
* Ability to analyze problems and meet deadlines
* Detail-oriented and organized
