The Ideal Candidate:
Experience:
* 5+ years in the water/utilities industry, ideally in a sales role.
* Proven experience in B2B project sales, particularly with government and municipal clients.
* Solid understanding of piping systems, especially Ductile Iron or alternatives.
Skills:
* Strong market research and business development capabilities.
* Excellent communication and client engagement skills.
* Strategic mindset with a focus on expanding market share and customer base.
Qualifications:
* University degree, preferably in Engineering or a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct market research to identify competitive activity, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
* Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share in Germany.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the water/utilities supply chain.
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies and municipalities.
* Collaborate with the Country Manager to align regional sales efforts with broader company goals.
Travel Requirements:
This role is based in Germany and will involve regular travel within the region to engage with clients, attend project sites, and coordinate with internal teams.
