We are looking for you, starting immediately, in part-time or full-time, on a permanent basis, to energize our Technology field.
Your Job:
1. Lead and mentor six engineering teams through their team leads, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
2. Collaborate closely with product, business, and technology stakeholders as part of the B2C business unit leadership to shape and execute our technical vision and strategy.
3. Drive architectural decisions and technical direction for our B2C platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
4. Establish and optimize development processes, quality standards, and engineering practices across teams in alignment with our Central Software Engineering Platform Teams and their Head of Software Engineering.
5. Contribute to strategic planning and budgeting processes, aligned with business goals and growth targets.
Your Skills:
1. Successfully completed studies in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or possess relevant vocational training and extensive leadership experience in software engineering.
2. Extensive experience managing multiple development teams in software engineering leadership roles.
3. Strong technical background with hands-on experience in modern software development practices and architecture.
4. Experience in scaling engineering organizations and implementing effective processes.
5. Outstanding leadership and communication skills, capable of operating effectively at strategic and tactical levels.
6. Proven ability to collaborate successfully with product, business, and technology stakeholders.
7. A passion for sustainability and contributing to a sustainable energy transition.
8. Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
