Description
:
1. Translate software architecture into detailed technical designs, code, unit and modular tests, and optimized solutions
2. Perform technical analysis of business requirements and processes and translate them into robust SAP solutions
3. Design and implement architectures on-stack and side-by-side using SAP BTP, following Clean Core principles
4. Develop, enhance, and maintain custom SAP applications using ABAP, RICEF, Idoc handling, qRFCs, CDS, SAP Fiori, and SAP UI5
5. Ensure code quality through reviews, automated checks, and adherence to SAP best practices
6. Execute and support testing activities in collaboration with functional, business, and project teams
7. Analyze root causes, fix defects, adapt to system changes, and deliver performance improvements to existing and future applications.
8. Evaluate and adopt new SAP technologies (e.g. BTP / AI)
9. Define and promote best-practice approaches across architectures, technologies, and deployment scenarios
10. Collaborate closely with consultants, architects, business and project managers, and contribute to steering implementation projects while ensuring high quality standards
11. Coordination and support for tasks assigned to a group of developers
12. Ownership of technical design and implementation
13. Own application roadmaps, lifecycle planning and technical architecture diagrams.
14. Make sure that the actions assigned to the resources are clearly understood and completed with good quality
15. Subject Matter Expert on SD-LE, SD-FT, GTS.
16. Expertise on ERP/ GTS/ EWM Integration will be an added advantage.
Skills:
17. Degree in Computer Science, Business Information, or a comparable qualification
18. 8–10+ years of professional SAP development experience, ideally in an international environment
19. Strong expertise in ABAP (new syntax), ABAP, RAP, CDS, VDM, and OData, APIs, IDocs, qRFC.
20. Good functional understanding of SAP modules, including customizing – MM; SD -LE, SD-FT, GTS)
21. Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP UI5, BTP, Front end servers, designs.
22. Good understanding of SAP Clean Core and modern extension strategies
23. Strong analytical skills, structured working style, and ability to explain complex topics clearly
24. High motivation for continuous learning and innovation
25. Excellent communication skills and strong customer-oriented mindset
26. Very good English communication skills both written and verbal; German is a strong plus
