Job Description The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As an EMEA Customer Requirements & Project Specialist (m/f/*) for our Industrial Adhesives & Tapes Division in EMEA, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Independent management of Market Extension NPIs / CMPs up to the start of production (SOP) Implementation and monitoring of quality instruments and programs Support in the creation of initial sample inspection reports in coordination with customers and plants Planning and coordination of customer objectives Coordination of activities to improve the QM system Accompanying plant relocations and raw material change projects Ensuring quality advance planning (APQP) in projects and implementing project-specific customer requirements Conducting audits (internal and external) Managing complaint management and monitoring customer complaints Contributing to ensuring existing external certification according to ISO9001 and IATF16949 Conducting quality or escalation discussions with customers and suppliers Close collaboration with sales, marketing, manufacturing, development, and application engineering Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements: Degree in engineering (process engineering, chemical engineering, or similar) Profound professional experience in a comparable position with a focus on quality Experience in project management and knowledge of important project management tools and methodologies Strong collaboration skills with colleagues in an international environment Very good communication skills Proactive way of working Fluent English skills Knowledge and understanding of customer-specific requirements (CSRs) Very good knowledge of common automotive standards of VDA and AIAG, as well as automotive core tools (MSA, SPC, APQP, etc.) and automotive methods (5Why, Ishikawa, Poka Yoke) Certified auditor of ISO9001 and IATF16949 standards Learn more about 3M’s creative solutions to the world’s problems at www.3M.com or on Twitter @3M. 3M Global Terms of Use and Privacy Statement Carefully read these Terms of Use before using this website.
