Head of Manufacturing Network Planning (f/m/d) - Steam Turbines & Generators at Siemens Energy. The primary focus is on fostering collaboration across the network and optimizing overall utilization, driving operational excellence through effective load and capacity management and continuous network development.
Responsibilities
* Build, lead, and develop an international team, fostering collaboration, efficiency and flexibility within the manufacturing network.
* Drive the development, implementation and continuous improvement of a global manufacturing load planning process and framework to optimize production capacities and resources.
* Own the strategic manufacturing network development process, including core/non-core strategies, product and component allocation, and related CAPEX planning.
* Supervise and support initiation and execution of cross-site projects and improvement initiatives translating strategic and operational needs into effective solutions.
* Ensure close coordination with Manufacturing internal and external stakeholders to align strategies with relevant functions and overall business objectives.
What You Bring
* A university degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or a related field
* Significant experience in manufacturing, with strategic assignments and many years of leadership experience
* Proven track record in implementing strategic and complex improvement and change projects
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities to effectively lead an international team and interact with stakeholders
* Excellent strategic and analytical skills, with a structured problem-solving approach and a proactive can-do attitude
* Fluent English; German is an advantage
