ZIB is the central IT service provider for the Lower Saxony judiciary and is responsible for a modern IT infrastructure with approximately 18,000 PC workstations. In addition, our team of around 400 colleagues runs numerous digitization projects for a modern judiciary. To strengthen our team in department 3201 – Integration, we are looking for a
System Administrator for Integration and Automation (f/m/d)
Your tasks:
* Technical coordination, integration, and implementation of new program versions and specialist procedures in the ZIB infrastructure.
* Participation in the automation and creation of test and training environments with Ansible.
* Visualization and documentation of project and work results, including in GitLab.
* Participation in the design, configuration, and integration of the central server systems required for the operation of the applications, as well as the design and optimization of processes
What sets you apart:
* A relevant university degree (e.g., computer science) or equivalent skills and experience gained in practice.
* Profound knowledge of the Microsoft universe (e.g., Active Directory, PowerShell for creating and maintaining script-driven installations, IIS, etc.), as well as the administration of Windows Server operating systems.
* Ideally, knowledge of Ansible, Open Shift, GitHub automation software and the ITIL process world.
* Ability to work in a team, initiative and service orientation
* Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany
* German language skills corresponding to level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, as well as IT-standard English language skills.
* Willingness to undergo a security check in accordance with § 7 (1) of the Lower Saxony Security Service Act (Nds. SÜG) is required.
