* This role is integral to the operational success, requiring a blend of technical knowledge, effective communication, and soft skills
* Bachelor degree in Economics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field or other relevant experience
* Proven track record of sourcing execution, managing internal customer relationships effectively, excelling in environments involving multiple stakeholders, functions, and locations
* Experience in logistics and supply chain operations and a good understanding of the integrated role of people, policies, processes, and systems necessary for sustained success in strategic and operational sourcing
* Strong experience in cost optimization, contract management, contract negotiations, strategic sourcing and Supplier Relationship Management
* Good analytical capabilities to drive insights, evaluate opportunities, and manage risk effectively
* English proficiency at a negotiation level is mandatory, German language skills are a plus
Der Job
* You will be responsible for management of Procurement activities for global Air-, Ocean- & Overland Transportation as well as Logistics Services. This also includes external Warehousing, Courier Express Parcel (CEP), Supply Chain Services and Custom Brokerage services
* You lead strategic sourcing projects, including all key steps such as strategy development, supplier negotiation, award recommendations, business case presentations and supplier contract execution
* You plan and carry out sourcing events for critical initiatives and tactical, ad-hoc sourcing projects to enable sustainable and value based logistic solutions
* You support the implementation of category strategies which add significant value to the business
* You will support the Category Lead to identify cost/productivity improvement opportunities in spending across a wide array of leading companies
* You will support the overall Supplier Management Approach covering Supplier Segmentation & Development, Supplier Governance as well the overall Contract Framework and Sourcing Approach
* You foster cross-functional learning and knowledge building linked to relevant logistics market developments
