Your main tasks:
* Measurement of fiber dispersion with an existing setup
* Implementation of a theoretical model for the fiber dispersion
* Extension of the setup for measurement of pumped active fibers
* Investigation on influence of population inversion / amplification on fiber dispersion
What you bring:
* Hands-on mentality and willingness to learn
* Solid knowledge of the basics of optics and electromagnetism
* Knowledge of Python
* Practical experience working in a laser or optics lab
