Job Overview
The Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) is seeking several legal experts/economists to perform various tasks related to investment firms.
* Business Model Evaluation: Assess the risks faced by investment companies and evaluate their regulatory compliance.
* Legal Research and Resolution: Conduct research and resolve legal issues related to regulations applicable to investment firms.
* Enforcement Procedures: Implement legal powers, manage enforcement procedures, and handle procedural aspects related to investment firms.
* AML/CTF Issues: Contribute to work on Anti-Money Laundering/Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CTF) issues.
* Regulatory Matters: Develop expertise in regulatory matters, including MiFID, IFD/IFR, MICAR, ESG, etc., and process requests linked to the practical application of these regulations.
Necessary Skills: A university degree in law or economics, a good knowledge of the regulatory framework, basic knowledge of financial analysis or data mining, excellent writing, analytical, and synthesis skills, proficiency in French, English, and German, good communication skills, ability to integrate a team, and organizational skills.
