About the Role
As a Technical Writer for Banking Solutions at SAP Fioneer, you create clear and high-quality documentation that makes complex banking software easy to use, legally complete, and suitable for global markets. Working as part of an agile Scrum team, you contribute directly to enterprise software development for the financial services industry, where user assistance is fully integrated into the product. You collaborate closely with development, UX, and product management to deliver user-friendly documentation and in-product guidance in English and other agreed target languages, playing a key role in customer success.
Your responsibilities:
* Create and maintain user assistance deliverables such as product documentation, embedded help, UI texts, and multimedia assets
* Ensure consistent, user-friendly terminology across user interfaces and documentation
* Work iteratively with developers, UX designers, and product owners throughout the agile development process
* Participate in reviews, demos, and planning meetings to continuously improve usability and content quality
* Use modern documentation and collaboration tools to manage content, reviews, and translations
Requirements
* Degree in technical writing, translation, or a comparable language-based discipline
* Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and precisely
* Strong team mindset and intercultural communication skills
* Excellent written and spoken German and English, ideally first language proficiency
* Strong collaboration skills and a proactive, quality-driven mindset
* Interest in the financial services industry
