We develop innovative architectures for future systems of systems and products. Our in-house simulation framework is a key to the operational analysis of these systems to optimize them and make early design decisions. You will work in an international environment, requiring close coordination with internal and external stakeholders, such as customers and project partners. Company sports and leisure activities such as sailing, diving and flight simulation Your tasks and responsibilities You work in an agile environment project team involved in the planning, implementation and analysis of military studies and simulation based-analyses. You support Workshops and conduct interviews with customers and stakeholders, prepare study results for customer presentations. You support the collection and definition of customer requirements, define Concept of Operations (CONOPS), You develop simulation models and scenarios and implement them into an existing 3D simulation framework. You generate simulation result data by applying Data Farming methodology with the 3D simulation framework and evaluate the results using data analysis and statistics. You manage interfaces between customers, other departments and work packages. You support the Technical management of studies and projects. You support the Preparation of offers, work package descriptions, effort estimation. You work together with other specialist departments, experts/senior experts and external project partners. Desired skills and qualifications You have a degree in information technology, aerospace technology or engineering. Ideally, you have first experience in the operational simulation-based analysis of system of systems in military scenarios, as well as defining performance indicators/measures of effectiveness. You are familiar with simulation tools and/or 3D Game Engines. Good practical programming experience, ideally in Python and C++. You have good knowledge of modeling and simulation; operational knowledge in the military domain is an advantage. You have first experience in project management with agile methods (e.g. Scrum) and the use of appropriate tools; knowledge of using Atlassian toolstack (Confluence, JIRA) is an advantage. You have knowledge of modeling and simulation. You have fluent/business fluent English and skills, both spoken and written. German knowledge would be of advantage. You have an independent and reliable way of working, have analytical thinking skills to understand complex relationships and have strong presentation and communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team.
