Security Architect / Specialist – Product & OT Security | Stuttgart & Munich
Stuttgart (x2) | Munich (x1)/ Up to €115,000 gross p.a./ 24-month contract | Start: ASAP Up to 3 days remote/week Business-fluent German essential (Verhandlungssicher)
We're looking for experienced Security Architects and Specialists with a focus on Product Security and/or OT/ICS Security for a complex, multi-site programme in Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria.
This is senior, hands-on work — you'll be defining security architectures, driving risk analyses, owning certification processes, and enabling development teams to build secure products from the ground up.
What you'll be doing:
→ Designing and evaluating security architectures at product and system level
→ Conducting threat modelling and vulnerability risk analyses
→ Defining and verifying security measures against product security goals
→ Driving approval and certification processes (Common Criteria, BSI IT-Grundschutz)
→ Implementing ISO27001 and NIS-2 at project level
→ Advising and enabling development teams on security requirements
Must-haves:
✅ Proven Cyber / IT Security experience — Product Security or OT Security focus preferred
✅ BSI IT-Grundschutz — hands-on, not just theoretical
✅ EU security standards: Cyber Resilience Act, Data Act, Radio Equipment Directive
✅ ISO27001 & NIS-2 implementation experience
✅ Business-fluent German (Verhandlungssicher)
Nice to have: IEC 62443 | Common Criteria | Industrial/embedded product environments
