We seek dedicated IT specialists to develop Bundeswehr IT further through challenging digitalization projects, contributing to Germany's security.
Role Description
As a Solution Architect Cloud with a focus on Security, you will work within a DevSecOps team to cover and oversee Security by Design. You will design, develop, operate, and enhance solutions supporting the business goals, products, and services of GesVersBw from a cloud application perspective. You will also serve as a Security Cloud Enabler, acting as a multiplier for all DevSecOps team members.
Responsibilities
* Develop and design scalable, highly available cloud architectures.
* Integrate and monitor security standards in the development process within a military context (Security by Design).
* Implement and optimize container solutions (e.g., Kubernetes) for efficient application operation.
* Design and implement microservice-based systems to ensure modularity, scalability, and fault tolerance.
* Implement security measures, hardening, security tools, checks, monitoring, vulnerability management, secrets management, and network segmentation.
Candidate Profile
* Degree in Computer Science or a comparable field with at least 4 years of relevant professional experience.
* Knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and security solution integration in development processes.
* Experience with cloud environments & services (e.g., Google Cloud), cloud-native technologies (e.g., SAP BTP, GIT, Spring, Docker), software architectures (e.g., Microservices), and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, VCF, GDC).
* Familiarity with Clean Code, peer review, and pair programming.
* High result orientation, decision-making ability, strategic thinking, customer focus, and continuous process improvement enthusiasm.
* Fluent German, good English skills, and willingness to travel (~30%).
