* Contract: Marginal employment (Minijob, up to €603/month).
* Rate: Competitive daily/hourly rate for days worked.

About this role:
We are seeking a dedicated Home Language Tutor to support our Russian-speaking students in the Primary School (ages 3–12). In this role, you will work closely with qualified teachers on a fixed schedule to nurture the students' native language skills, support their cultural identity, and help them integrate their linguistic background into our IB Primary Years Programme (PYP).
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES
* Student Support: Work directly with native Russian-speaking students (ages 3–12) under the guidance of qualified teachers, ensuring learning continuity in both languages.
* Linguistic Bridge: Help students activate prior knowledge and conceptual understandings in Russian to support their learning within the English-taught IB PYP framework.
* Cultural Identity: Foster the students' home language development and support their cultural identity within our diverse community.
* Collaboration: Communicate effectively with classroom teachers and parents regarding student progress and linguistic needs.
YOUR QUALIFICATION
* Language Proficiency: Native-level fluency in Russian and highly proficient (near-native) command of English. Excellent communication skills in both languages are essential for collaborating with our international faculty.
* Pedagogical Awareness: Ability to navigate the complexities of language acquisition and translanguaging in an international school setting.
* Experience: Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
* Work Permit: A valid German work permit is mandatory at the time of application.
* Mindset: Reliable, professional, and committed to the IB Learner Profile with a positive "can-do" attitude.
