Who We AreWe are deltaVision GmbH. We develop, produce, and qualify fluid control systems for aerospace and H2 mobility. In 2022, we founded the company to become a premium supplier of cryogenic- and high-pressure sub-systems. We disrupt the market with innovative products, cost-effectiveness, and lead time that no traditional player has ever seen. With our knowledge on fluid-control for space systems we are shaping the space economy towards refuelable and re-usable spacecrafts.Your missionWithin this project, you will start the development of a cleanliness verification test bench for space propulsion products in accordance with European space standards. You will design, assemble, and verify the test bench, with state-of-the-art in-space propulsion valves within a cleanroom environment. Verification involves the possible implementation of a machine learning algorithm for image recognition, counting, and categorizing particles at a submillimeter scale.Your profileCurrently enrolled student in a relevant engineering / science discipline (for example electrical / mechatronics / aerospace engineering, physics or equivalent)Motivated, pragmatic, and self-organized personalityPassion for spaceflight and space propulsionEager to take responsibilityGood knowledge in fluid systems design and test, and microcontrollers like Arduino is appreciatedPython and knowledge in machine learning and image recognition algorithms is a plusHands-on mindset for hardware and software-related activities (inspection, assembly, testing)Fluency in English, German, and further languages is appreciatedWe offerBachelor Thesis or Internship, can be mandatory or voluntaryAbove-average remunerationGuided but self-determined problem solving to realize your ideasDeep dive into the domain of commercial spaceflight and mobilityOpportunity for an adjacent employment as working student or for thesisFlexible entry date, the sooner the better with Flexible working hoursCompany benefits like transportation allowance and sports club memberships (EGYM Wellpass)Launch with usJoin our team and shape the future of aerospace with us.
